What is Sex Therapy?
Almost ten years ago, I began to notice with both my couples and individuals that there were hurts and difficulties many face with sexual issues that are largely unaddressed. I began researching in my extra time and had a difficult time finding quality material. I discovered the Institute of Sexual Wholeness at Richmont University and in 2016 began working to become a licensed Christian Sex Therapist. Sex therapy involves evidence-based protocols that improve functioning in physical and emotional intimacy for couples. While sex therapy itself can address many issues, I most often focus on couples dealing with low or high desire, pornography addiction, male sexual dysfunction, and communication issues around sex.

Individual vs. Couple/Family
At times, individuals may ask if they can start counseling individually before inviting their loved one to join them. In our therapy sessions, we will discuss the best way to incorporate important relationships into your treatment plan.
